Reaver Dev is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy applies to the Berries game client, online multiplayer services, website, and related support interactions. By accessing or playing Berries, you acknowledge the terms described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you access Berries (e.g., via Epic Games launcher, guest play, or external identity providers), we collect and process certain categories of information:

A. Epic Account Services (EAS) & Online Identifiers

When you log in using your Epic Games Account, we receive authorized profile identifiers via the Epic Online Services SDK:

• Epic Account ID: A unique string identifier assigned to your Epic Games account.
• Epic Display Name: Your public Epic Games username, used for in-game lobbies and scoreboards.
• Presence & Friends List (Optional): If you grant in-game permission, we process your online presence and friends list to enable party invites and friend matchmaking.
• Product User ID (PUID): A unique Epic Game Services identifier used to link your player data (achievements, statistics, unlockables) across platforms.

B. Device & Technical Information

To facilitate network play and game stability, the following technical data is processed:

• Anonymous Device Identifier: If you play in guest/anonymous mode, an encrypted Device ID token is generated locally to persist game progress via EOS Connect.
• Hardware & Operating System: OS version (e.g., Windows 11), CPU/GPU architecture, and display resolution for graphics settings optimization.
• Diagnostic & Crash Logs: Error codes and stack traces generated during unexpected crashes to resolve bugs.

C. Multiplayer & Network Connection Data

Berries utilizes Epic Online Services Peer-to-Peer (P2P) networking for multiplayer arenas:

• IP Addresses: To establish low-latency multiplayer peer sessions between clients, your IP address is processed strictly on a temporary basis by the networking stack to route gameplay packets. We do not use your IP address to track your physical identity.
• Session & Match Data: Round scores, match duration, weapon usage, and latency statistics.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Article 6)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

• Performance of a Contract: To provide you with the Game, enable multiplayer features, manage lobbies, and track progress.
• Legitimate Interests: To maintain security, troubleshoot game crashes, prevent cheating, and improve performance.
• Consent: Where required by applicable law (e.g., for optional social features like accessing friends lists).

4. How We Use Your Information

We process collected information solely for the following purposes:

• Authenticating players and verifying account ownership.
• Enabling multiplayer matchmaking, lobby synchronization, and peer-to-peer gameplay.
• Persisting achievements, stats, and in-game progression.
• Detecting and preventing cheating, exploits, and harmful conduct.
• Diagnosing technical issues, fixing bugs, and deploying game updates.
• Responding to player support inquiries sent to our contact addresses.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We partner with trusted third-party providers who assist in operating game infrastructure:

• Epic Games, Inc. (Epic Online Services / EOS): We integrate the Epic Online Services SDK to deliver authentication, crossplay, lobby management, peer-to-peer networking, and cloud services. Data handled by Epic Games is governed by the Epic Games Privacy Policy.

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade player information to third-party data brokers or advertisers.

6. Data Retention & Storage

We retain player profile identifiers (such as PUID and achievement flags) only for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with game functionality. Ephemeral network logs and crash diagnostics are deleted or anonymized automatically within 30 to 90 days.

7. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR, UK GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you possess specific legal rights regarding your personal information:

• Right of Access: You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: You can request that inaccurate or incomplete information be corrected.
• Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You have the right to request deletion of your player data.
• Right to Restrict or Object to Processing: You may object to the processing of your data under certain conditions.
• Right to Data Portability: You may request your data in a structured, commonly used machine-readable format.
• Right to Revoke Permissions: You can revoke Berries' access to your Epic Games account at any time through your Epic Games Account Connections Portal.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)

Berries is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union / United Kingdom). Reaver Dev does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under these ages. If we discover that personal data from a child has been collected without verified parental consent, we will take immediate steps to delete that data from our records. 9. Data Security

We employ industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. All communication between the game client and Epic Online Services backend is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS).

Our servers and third-party service providers (including Epic Games) operate globally. Therefore, information collected may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, are in place where required.
